Sierra Massey was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She moved to New York in the summer of 2017 to pursue a career in writing. Sierra lacked community back in the sunshine state, but shortly after moving to New York she found Tehuti Ma’at Garden. After taking a Smai Tawi/Ari Ankh Ka class with Priscilla/Nfrka she found a deeper connection to her Afrakan heritage. Currently she is in training to become a certified Kemetic Yoga teacher. Sierra has a divine love for her people and through her passion for writing, nature and fitness she is dedicated to creating meaningful alternatives for people of Afrakan ascent. She has volunteered hands-on at Tehuti Ma’at Garden as well as organizationally.
